I know that I essentially closed-out this blog several days ago so I'm probably doing this commentary mostly for myself, and maybe a couple of  'friends and family'....

3:15pm -- What else did we expect? Many of the people currently on the steps of or inside the Capitol building have repeatedly been 'egged on' by the current President of the United States, his enabling 'allies' and his media propaganda shills. Many (of the protesters) know or understand little else.

3:25pm -- There are media reports of violence and injuries...probably inevitable in such a chaotic situation. I've also heard reports that the protesters 'breaching' (etc.) of the Capitol is thought to be illegal. All that said, for some reason -- while hoping and praying for no further violence or injuries -- I generally don't have as big of a 'problem' as some (current TV commentators etc.) with these groups visibly expressing their feelings and views. But do it peacefully, with respect for law, law enforcement, property, etc. From what I hear we may already be past that, though...

3:35pm -- Trump and current Republican leaders -- who helped bring about this situation -- need to step up and try to defuse it...Joe Biden might want to try to at least say something as well.

Except I'm not sure that they have the ability to calm the situation. They're inherently unable to...
